Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect
We collect email addresses, names, and account credentials when you register. If you use Google OAuth, we collect your profile email and display avatar URL. We also store canvas settings and backdrop configurations as history snapshots under your UID. We also collect limited product-usage information, such as pages visited and feature interactions, to understand how Framely is used and improved.
2. Raw Image Data Privacy
Screenshot uploads are stored locally in your browser memory (as data URLs) and are not processed on our servers, except when saved to the database. In local fallback mode, they remain completely in your browser's local storage. We do not use your screenshots for tracking or model training.
3. Third Party Databases
We use Firebase and Supabase to sync configuration history, and PostHog for product analytics. These providers process data according to their own privacy and security practices.
4. Analytics
PostHog helps us measure page views, product interactions, and feature adoption. When you sign in, analytics may be associated with your account's stable ID. We do not use PostHog for targeted advertising or to inspect the contents of your uploaded screenshots.
5. Cookies & Storage
We use browser localStorage and sessionStorage to keep login sessions and local application data available. PostHog may use browser storage to maintain a pseudonymous analytics session. You can control or clear this data through your browser settings.
